Jesus’ Prayer

The All-In Hedge “BET YOUR LIFE” It is a winning gambit

Pascal (the mathematician) maintains humans are incapable of knowing whether God exists or not, yet we must “wager” one way or the other. “God is, or He is not.” The strategy suggests one should gamble as though God exists.  The stake : “… weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that God is.  … estimate these two chances. If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation that He is.”  Ante-up, bet all-in God, believe His son died for your sins past present and future. What do you have to lose? Consider the consequences. The End

Jesus’ ALL-IN PRAYER

“I am not praying for these alone but also for the future believers who will come to me because of the testimony of these. My prayer for all of them is that they will be of one heart and mind, just as you and I are, Father that just as you are in me and I am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent me.”   John 17:20-21

We are those who are steeped and saturated in sin, addicted, compulsive in bondage. Today we need to receive and open our hearts to the Salvation, Lordship and Healing of Jesus. We are not now nor were we ever comforted by drugs, alcohol, material things, or religion. We used and abused those things and people to numb our pain. The answer is not physical or emotional. It is spiritual. We need a Savior to save us from ourselves and the temptations of the world.

When Jesus had fulfilled all His Father had ordained for Him to do in His earthly ministry, He was sent to the cross by Caiaphas, the acting high priest, as the sacrificial Lamb. As the Lamb of God, He went all-in for you. This was the final and most crucial step in the preparation of the Temple in the heart of man.  Jesus’sacrifice eliminated the sin nature (guilt, shame, fear and all defects in character) that has separated us as men and women from God’s presence and having a personal relationship with Him since the fall of Adam in the garden.

Jesus, the sacrificial Lamb of God, hung on the cross, shedding every drop of His innocent, royal blood for us. This is known as absolute surrender or going all-in. Once this was done, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom (Luke 23:45). God moved out of the man-made temple never again to reside in a building made by human hands. He is available to take up residence in the Temple of men’s hearts where He has always willed and waited to dwell by your personal invitation.

Jesus made it clear that to follow up Him; we must first count the cost. Although the gift of grace is free. There is a price to following Jesus, and He makes the amount of the wager certain. The all-in price is nothing short of our lives!

The truly born-again believer, the winner plays his “royal flush”  going all-in with a wager becoming a disciple, laying down his life completely for the Lord Jesus. In order to go all-in we put aside our dreams, ambitions, goals and agendas; wagering all-in on His eternal truth. It requires that you wager your life on His truth and promises. It is the wager of an earthly lifetime that ensures your life with him in eternity! It is the all-in wager! It is your choice and you have a chance. Don’t miss it up the default of no choice is eternity in hell. You have been dealt a winning hand in the Satan’s’ game for your life. Your salvation is assured by the King of Hearts; King Jesus . Go all-in!

THE GO ALL-IN PRAYER

Lord Jesus I am going all-in with You. I know that I am a sinner, I repent of my sins. I need a Savior in my life. I invite You Jesus to come into my heart and make me the man/woman that You will me to be. I know that You died on the cross and shed Your blood for all my sins past, present and future. You rose again on the third day showing me that You are the Way to eternal life. I believe in my heart Jesus You are my Lord, Savior and Healer. Amen.
